This is actually a British coin.

The 1 Shilling coins from 1937 to 1970 used separate English & Scots designs purely as a tribute to the Scots ancestry of Queen Elizabeth,the Queen Mother.

Scotland last had its own coins in the very early 1700's,although Scotland did have its own currency tokens in circulation in the 1790's & during the early 19th. Century.
