Front Description : The main impression shows the portrait of Domingo Faustino Sarmiento who was an Argentine activist, intellectual, and writer, and the seventh President of Argentina. Sarmiento was particularly concerned with educational issues, scientific progress and cultural development. His impact is seen in the establishment of Latin American Teacher's Day in his honor at the 1943 Interamerican Conference on Education.

Back Description : It shows the Casa de Gobierno or Casa Rosada (the Government House or Pink House), the official seat of the executive branch of the government of Argentina, and the office of the President.
