bart 21 Dec. 2010 09:59	I was answering Dennis' comment, Alaincoins. Your coin is as normal as all the 50 centimes I have. By the way, sometimes these coins are modified for fun, or plated in school to show the process. I have some plated low-value coins in my possession, which were plated for publicitary reasons by a plant who does plating for restauration purposes (like the big chandeleers in our church which were replated in brass).

bart 21 Dec. 2010 00:55	Your coin is probably a privately altered (plated) coin. As these coins are normally bronze, they are not magnetic.
