General Description Sor (Sister) Juana Inés de la Cruz (12 November 1648/51 – 17 April 1695), fully Juana Inés de Asbaje y Ramírez de Santillana, was a self-taught scholar, poet of the Baroque school, and nun of New Spain.
Obv. Description The Seal of the United Mexican States, It is a modified version of the national coat of arms, with the only difference of having the official name of the country Estados Unidos Mexicanos, in a semi-circular.
Rev. Description Portrait of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz 1/4 turn left, diagonal denomination on the left side, date under it.
