| General Description | This banknote is red and brown-orange surprinted on a multicolour undercoat. Series ED was dated October 28, 2008. This series was issue because the authorized signature for the Governing Board changed. |
| Front Description | Nezahualcoyotl face is featured just right of center and an Aztec figure is featured just left of center. Two signatures are found on the lower left side of the note. The Serial number appears on the upper left and bottom right and the denomination appears in opposite corners from the serial number. There is a vertical irridescent strip left of center with the 100 holograms appearing repeated down the strip. |
| Back Description | The back features an Aztec design with a statue of Xochipilli just right of center. On this side of the note the denomination appears in numerals in both top corners and in words on the bottom left. |
