General Description In 2010 the Banco Central de la Republica Argentina issued a series of commemorative circulation coins of $ 1 alluding to the bicentennial of the Revolucion de Mayo. It includes five versions evoking different geographical regions of the country.
Obv. Description Shows an image of Parque Nacional El Palmar in the province of Entre Rios. This National Park was created in 1966 for the preservation of its characteristic Yatay palm trees.
Rev. Description Shows the representation of the rising sun as a symbol of the country in constant growth and evokes the 200 years of history.
