General Description In 2010 the Banco Central de la Republica Argentina issued a series of commemorative circulation coins of $ 1 alluding to the bicentennial of the Revolucion de Mayo. It includes five versions evoking different geographical regions of the country.
Obv. Description Shows the Sea Lion monument in Mar del Plata, one of the major fishing ports and the biggest seaside beach resort in Argentina.
Rev. Description Shows the representation of the rising sun as a symbol of the country in constant growth and evokes the 200 years of history.
