| General Description : | Gold plated is first class and Silver plated is second class 2,000 issued Silvered bronze cross pattée with ornate convex ends to the arms, an oak leaf on each arm, with rays between the arms, on swivel crown suspension. The Cross was instituted on 11 November 1906 in celebration of the 40th anniversary of King Carol’s appointment as Domnitor of the Principality of Romania to be awarded for long and faithful service to the Kingdom of Romania. The Cross could be awarded to Romanian and non-Romanian citizens.
