| General Description | Kollektiv der Sozialistischen Arbeit Collective of Socialist labor was a collective award in the German Democratic Republic (GDR). The award was founded in 1960 [1] on March 15 and paid tribute to high production successes, special achievements in the socialist community work and especially in Socialist competition. Precursors were the awards as "Brigade of Socialist Labor" and "community of socialist labor". The award as a collective of Socialist Labor was conferred annually.
