General Description The Bondgenotenlaan (Avenue of the Allied Forces) runs from the Martyr's Place (Railway Station) until the Rector De Somer Place (until 2011: Field Marshall Foch Place). The Avenue was named "Statiestraat" (Sation street) until 1914.
