| General Description | Mine Liczyrzepa (German Rübezahl) - mine iron ore and uranium in Kowary, in a period was part of the "Enterprise Kowarskie Mines", then Industrial Works R-1. Liczyrzepa mine was located in the Giant Mountains, on the north-eastern slopes Kowarski Ridge. In total, in the years 1948-1954 in the mine Liczyrzepa extracted approx. 470 t of uranium ore with an average content of 0.3% uranium, which is approx. 1.4 tonnes of pure uranium |
