|General Description||Union Museum is a national museum, located in Str. Lapusneanu no. 14 in Iași.
The museum was opened to the public in 1959, to celebrate the centenary of the 1859 union of Romanian Principalities. Building is a historical and architectural monument, built between 1800-1806, in neoclassical style. The museum displays historic pieces evoking the Revolution of 1848 and the union of Moldavia with Romanian State in 1859 (documents, furniture and interior decoration items, objects that belonged to Al. I. Cuza, MK, and other personalities Alecsandri era).
The museum building's is a historical and architectural monument, built between 1800 - 1806 in the neoclassical style.
