Romanian Navy Museum was established by the Council of Ministers no. 1127 of 29 May 1969 published in the Official Gazette RSR, Year V, no. 63, p. I, 2 June 1969. It was officially opened on August 3, 1969 in Constanta, located in the premises of the former Naval School and the history of Romanian Navy.
