| General Description | Victoria Square, formerly the Opera Square is one of the main squares in the city of Timisoara, Timisoara where was proclaimed in December 20, 1989 the first free town in Romania. At opposite poles are market north Opera and the Metropolitan Cathedral south. From Opera to Cathedral promenade right is called "Corso" and the left "Surrogate". Both ensembles of historical significance. |
