Văliug

Văliug (Franzdorf German, Hungarian Ferenczfalva) is a village in Caras-Severin, Banat, Romania. The residence village of the same name.
Layout created in 1780 people who were preparing charcoal for plants in Resita. In 1908 - 1909 was built a lake (Lake Old) about 12 ha, for the needs of steel plants; after the establishment of new furnaces and steel works was done a second lake (56 ha), 3 km long and with a flow rate of 10 million cubic meters of water
