| General Description : | Vatican City promoted Holy Year 1975 with the release of this complete mint set of eleven stamps on December 19, 1974. The stamps feature: Christus Victor, Sts. Peter and Paul; Christ, St. Peter's Basilica; Christ; cross surmounted by dove; Christ enthroned; St. Peter; St. Paul; Arms of Pope Paul VI; and Pope Paul VI giving his blessing. Designs of the 10 l and 25 l values are from St. Peter's; designs of the 30 l and 40 l values are from St. John Lateran; the 50 l, 55 l, and 90 l value designs are from St. Mary Major; and the 100 l and 130 l value designs are from St. Paul outside the Walls. |
