Obv. Description Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 77 years old, surrounded by the inscription ELIZABETH II D G REGINA. The effigy is reminiscent of that of her father, His Majesty King George VI, who had elected to forgo the crown, struck with a P Mint Mark to represent the Royal Canadian Mint’s plating process
