| General Description : | It was 30 years ago on April 16, 1980 that Canada first signed the contract to buy what was then a state-of-the-art fighter jet, the CF-18 Hornet. Now 30 years later it required electronic upgrade. The program took 9 years in two phases. Completed in March 2010. |
