| General Description : | Kingston, Ontario, Canada. It may be the Chinese calendar's Year of the Rabbit - but the summer is bringing the day of the dragon! The 13th Annual Kingston Dragon Boat Festival on July 23rd, 2011, maybe the biggest festival ever. This year, we are cpped team entries at 72, and the race site was alive with more entertainment and more vendors. |

| Back Description : | Medal suspended by a 23 mm wide blue ribbon. In support of Boys and Girls club: It is the mission of the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston & Area to enhance the quality of life for children in our community. We are investing in their futures and strive to create positive environments from which these children and youth can grow and reach their full potential. The club works to develop citizenship and leadership skills among all its members. We offer opportunities to learn life-skills and aid in the development of social skills, all while having fun and participating in recreational programs. By exposing our children and youth to enrichment activities we help to broaden their horizons and encourage cooperation. Race held 23 July 2011. |
