Front Description Count Josip Jelačić of Bužim (16 October 1801, Petrovaradin – 20 May 1859, Zagreb) was the Ban of Croatia between 23 March 1848 and 19 May 1859. He was a member of the House of Jelačić and a noted army general, remembered for his military campaigns during the Revolutions of 1848 and for his abolition of serfdom in Croatia.
Back Description Eltz Manor is a castle in Vukovar, Croatia. It was originally built between the period of 1749 to 1751 by the House of Eltz and was gradually extended over time. Eltz is a prominent Catholic German noble family with ties to Croatia since it acquired the Lordship of Vukovar in 1736.
