| General Description : | Canadian Expeditionary Force Command (CEFCOM) was an operational element of the Canadian Forces for operations outside of Canada, created in 2006 and merged into the Canadian Joint Operations Command in 2012. Under the CF structure, Canadian Expeditionary Forces Command (CEFCOM) was the unified command that was responsible for all Canadian Forces (CF) international operations, with the exception of operations conducted solely by Canadian Special Operations Forces Command elements. CWO Hamalainen was appointed to the Order of Military Merit, June 2009 and to be the Canadian Expeditionary Force Command CWO (CEFCOM CCWO) on 10 Aug 2009. He deployed to Op Mobile, the Libyan crisis at Naples, Italy as the NCC CWO from Mar to May 2011. CWO Hamalainen has been appointed to the post Chief of Defence Intelligence (CDI) CWO as of July 2012. |
